company profile
Old National was founded in 1834, as a small local bank on the shores of the Ohio River, in what would become Evansville, Indiana. Shortly after, we served our clients during the Panic of 1837 without missing a beat. Nearly a century later, during the Great Depression, Old National proved durable – and continued to grow. In the twenty-first century, Old National has grown significantly. While we’re now a regional powerhouse, we’ve achieved that status in a measured way, so that we can stay true to our roots: as a reliable community bank committed to exceeding our clients’ expectations. Our team members are active participants in the cities and towns they call home. We focus on ethical banking, financial education, leadership, and inclusion. We’ve even won multiple awards to prove it. As a strong and stable bank, we believe in building thriving communities in the areas we serve.
