Changing the way veterans connect with careers in Indiana.

We are determined to fundamentally change the way veterans connect with civilian careers.

THE PROCESS

Instead of combing through hundreds of positions on a job board, with INvets, employers come to you. We use a unique system that allows you to add military specific documents to your profile which allows us to help employers maximize your potential.

INvets also serves as a resource for veterans, offering information about high-wage, high-demand jobs in Indiana, the skills required for employment, and life in the communities where those jobs are located. Through the partnership with the State of Indiana, INvets helps connect veterans to state resources and benefits. INvets helps employers realize the benefits of hiring veterans as well as how they can take advantage of state incentive programs like Honor Our Vets that allows employers to offer $5,000 in relocation assistance to veterans they hire.

Step 1

Register and create your profile.

Step 2

List your unique attributes and find communities and employers that fit your needs.

Step 3

Explore career pathways within individual employers.

INvets partner employers have access to your profile and can call you directly for the next steps. Or, INvets provides contact information so you can apply directly to employers.

First hand experience

Here’s what one of our veterans had to say

“Great pay, a low cost of living, 4 seasons, and neighbors with values…  who wouldn’t want to be a Hoosier?!   I was amazed when I found INVets.org and learned I could receive up to $5,000 of relocation incentives after moving here, but this is just one of Indiana’s MANY great benefits for veterans.  I believe incentives such as this illustrate Indiana’s dedication to attracting the right workforce – – not just filling positions.  I’m absolutely certain Indiana was the correct choice, and my family and I are so blessed to be here.”“Great pay, a low cost of living, 4 seasons, and neighbors with values…  who wouldn’t want to be a Hoosier?! I’m absolutely certain Indiana was the correct choice, and my family and I are so blessed to be here.”
