Founded in 1945, Do it Best is the only US-based, member-owned comprehensive and fully integrated hardware, lumber and building materials buying cooperative in the home improvement industry. We love the diversity of our membership and value the experiences that each of our members brings to the co-op. We have more than 400 employees based in our global headquarters in Fort Wayne, IN, plus over a thousand more in our eight warehouses, what we call Retail Service Centers (RSCs), throughout the US. We also have a professional team of regional business consultants who work side-by-side with our members around the world.
