GLS has contracts with major wireless telephone carriers, renewable energy companies, and Government entities to perform HVAC installations, Generator installations and other scopes of work throughout the United States. All work is travelling with per diem work; our crews work on a 3 week “hitch” schedule. Each hitch consists of 3 weeks of work followed by 1 week of time off at home. Travel hours are paid time. Our technicians either drive to and from the market in a company provided work truck or fly via commercial airlines from their home base. At management discretion, overtime is scheduled as part of the normal hitch. 1.5x is paid for hours over 40, and 2.0X Double Time is paid on Sundays if the previous 6 days were days worked. A typical week is 70 hours worked.
