We're excited to share with you all the things we love about our Indiana home, from its history and art to its agriculture and beautiful country lifestyle. Rush County is full of “Lion Pride!" By having one county high school, along with the success of our athletic teams, every graduate becomes a “Lion." Local alum Brian Sheehan saw a need to increase our community pride and touted a “Lion” campaign. This idea took off. Now, when you visit us you will see creatively painted and personalized Lions at many businesses and homes. Make a special point to visit our revered pair of regal 1920s lions in front of Memorial Gymnasium on West 11th Street. Our lions are Instagram-ready!
